Hello I'm officially back to sunny Singapore! So yeah woke up early and boarded the 12pm flight back, and my dad fetched me home. Kinda spent a lot of money there man but nvm once in a while only since the shopping is great! Man I miss everyone! It's so good to be back. Yeah first thing I did was to call Jess and George to get updates on the peoject which is due in like, less than 72 hours? And it spells trouble cos we are not done yet. So yeah that's the price I pay for enjoying myself, but I'll work really hard to finish everything within the next couple of days!

Saturday, February 28, 2004

Ok so tired now, as usual blogging in Ma Boon Krong Internet cafe. Really need a break. Been shopping for so many hours, at least 20 shopping bags? Not kidding, so much so I had to go back to hotel, drop the stuff then continue. BUt still oe hell load of stuff with me. Think I'll take a cab back to hotel. So yah it's a great trip! Manage to relax a little before the 2nd part of semester begins. Will be back tomorrow afternoon. See ya!

Friday, February 27, 2004

Greetings from Bangkok!

Hi I'm back, now blogging at an Internet Cafe. So cheap! 15 baht for 30 minutes! That's like.. 70 cents? Woo hoo. Now in Ma Boon Kuang shopping centre, goodness! So huge! 7 floors, and it's like every floor you get the amount of shops in Takashimaya combined! Do the Maths!

So yeah yesterday touched down around 4 plus, went straight to shop at other places. The things here are tremendously cheap! And had dinner at this Thai restaurant, wah! The chilli is crazy!! Like the chef trying to clear excess chilli stocks and he put so much chilli on the dishes! Wah it was hard to eat, but I enjoyed the experience. Then went midnight shopping at Patpong, the red light district. Haha obviously it was kinda scary but never mind. My mum was like in this Luis Vutton shop for an hour and she not paiseh leh, ask the woman bring out all the LV bags for her to see! And she was like 'Eh this is so fake' and the woman will be like 'No Ma'am this is real!!' and it's so hilarious in the end she didn't buy. But still got a couple more days I think temptation might get the better of her?

So yah anyway this morning I went to Jim Thompson's house. Very beautiful place! Then yah so tired shopping so here I am chilling at the Internet cafe, I've finished 6 floors of walking around. Still got 1 more floor! Haven't really bought anything yet but I'm trying to compare prices first cos everywhere it's like...econs term...perfect competition? Yah so as a consumer I need to do my homework first hehe.

Ok see ya all soon take care :)

Thursday, February 26, 2004

Woke up late today. That felt great considering I had to get up early the past 2 days and rush projects. But that's done already (I hope). So packed my bags for tomorrow, surfed the Internet and browsed through the whole Lonely Planet Thailand guide. Yikes my accomodation is near Patpong, the infamous red light district. Help!

Movie marathon with Nicole at night. First up was RAISING VICTOR VARGAS, pretty ok. Kinda humourous, but didn't end well. It was like going on at an appropriate pace, and suddenly, it just ended out of nowhere! The whole theatre was stunned! Everyone was like 'Err...that's it?' So weird man..

Couldn't get any more shows at Cineleisure so took a train down to PS and caught IN AMERICA. Erm alright only lah, very slow moving movie? Taught us not to take things for granted. And America isn't a particularly rich country.

So yeah will be away for some time but see if I have any chance to blog or go on MSN. Chao!

Tuesday, February 24, 2004

Wah it's been a hellish day man, been mugging my projects like mad. Just like other tourism friends reporting in their blogs haha. But for me there's really no choice I have to finish my part of the project at breakneck speed before I leave on Thursday. And I've been on the computer for very long man I'm seeing stars!! Printing out zillions of stuff. Man I'm so tired, and I'm not done yet! Just one more budget report and I can rest peacefully haha.

Ok back to business. Zzz.

Monday, February 23, 2004

So yeah first things first I did tell some peeps that I'll be going to Bangkok this week. Well it's confirmed, just that I'll be leaving on Thursday instead of Wednesday, back on Sunday.

Yah so went back to school for project, broke the news to my group members. Don't know how they feel, but obviously the timing is crap. Considering the dateline is like, 10 days time? So really rushed the project like crazy. Went to great lengths like bothering the staff at Travel Partners to reveal stuff, calling my ex-company meeting services and even heading down to Changi Airport. Well I didn't go with them to the airport cos I needed to extend my passport validity at Safra. Meeting them tomorrow again. Oh Lord please help us harmonise and do a good travel kit!!

After that went to eat at Kenny Rogers with Adele, Mel and the other guys. My idea, since I haven't ate there for so long. Still as good lah hehe. Then after that it's MYSTIC RIVER at night. Boring! Waste my time and money! 2 bloody hours! What on earth were they showing? Crap! Don't watch it people.

Ok anyway I've done a nice collage go check it out on my friendster. Gotta rush project now!

Sunday, February 22, 2004

Haha yesterday I was just complaining to the whiny Adele that I hate oldies and here I am listening to one now. Actually, it's a remake by Westlife called 'Mandy'. Nice song people. And after last week's American Idol 'One Last Cry' by Brian McKnight seems to be playing on my computer time and time again. Camile sang it very well and got into the next round. Other noteworthy mentions:

Stacie Orrico: I Promise, There's gotta be more to life
Will Young: Leave Right Now
Gareth Gates: Say It Isn't So

Huge day, really exhausted.

Ok skipped ACJC funorama and SHSS Student council commendation for a soccer match at Ubi. Caleb really needed men so came down to play. So tiring man haha ok no point giving details here.

Took a long bus ride to East Coast park for Shasha/Dayana's birthday party. Wah so diificult to find the pit! Walked for miles, had to ask passer-bys and even call my friend from VJC to direct me. Anyway finally got there at 8pm with the usual tourism gang, except Zhi Fan who went clubbing. Actually wanted to join him but too shag lah. Hmm the bbq was great. The music was great but apparently Adele was not enjoying it. Hey girl, the oldies era is over! Haha well great to spend time with the birthday gals. All the best!

Saturday, February 21, 2004

Woo 1am already? So tired..

Thankfully I slept the entire afternoon away so I'm still quite energised. So anyway went to Cineleisure at 6pm. Met Wai See on the train and apparently she's heading to Orchard too. Had a good chat with her. Hmm then waited for Nicole, and decided to go to Robinsons to buy Ms Tan Ee Ling's present. Wow it's like my first time shopping for baby's clothes haha, definitely not easy, but bought a nice gift set eventually. Got it gist wrapped for free too.

Nicole's mum dropped by and fetched us to Ms Tan's house at Namly Avenue. Wah her house is humongous! And it's so cosy! Has this like sort of Chinese theme in the house? Really like it. Oh yah the baby is so cute! 1 month old, called Benjamin. Wanted to hold him then Ms Tan was like kinda scared haha. But he's so cute! Oh yah I ate a lot too oops hehe

Well after that I didn't think I'll end up there, but I did. CHINABLACK! My first time haha, and definitely not easy to get in but thanks to a fake id I got from Isaac. Yeah bumped into a lot of Hospi students there! Think they were having their own post-exam party I guess, but couldn't be bothered to talk to them lah. Although I did get to know a couple of guys. Hmm well Chinablack the music is so-so only. As compared to SOS I think SOS is much better. But good experience nonetheless. Ooh the drinks are kinda cheap too. 3 quid for a glass of Vodka Coke? That's a huge deal.

Ok better sleep now got a long day tomorrow..

Friday, February 20, 2004

I just so wanna get out of Singapore for a while. A little retreat. A few days off. Not worrying about projects. Not worrying about enemies. Not worrying about blogging or MSN. Just me and myself. And smsing friends. Sounds good huh.

Hmm anyway my mummy has been really really busy lately. She's been on the computer 24/7 and that's like her workplace now. She works late into the night, typing reports and luring potential customers. Next morning, same old routine. Even before I wake up I can hear sounds of frantic typing. Then she leaves house to meet her boss or something and it's back to this machine again. So well I'll try to update as much as I can. And if you don't see me on MSN, you know why hehe.

Haha the whole week I've been really obsessed with MTV Asia awards so much so that I've been watching it all over again and again. Not because somehow by stroke of luck I might see myself in the humongous sea of people, but because I can't get enough of the performances! Ok I shall stop haha..

Later going to my econs tecacher's house ooh.

Woo my mid sem tests are over! But not without a gruelling macroeconomics paper man! So tough, but think I'll still get an A hopefully? Usually past econs paper I'll breeze through it so easily, but today, whoa. Paper started at 9am, and I only completed it at 9.58am! Hope I didn't screw anything up.

Yeah so I kinda chilled out after that, and didn't even stay behind to eat at Biz park. Cos Nicole and Wanyi found out that Cineleisure got show at 11.35am so took a bus down and got tickets for SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE. Kinda like a romantic comedy sorta show but not too bad, just a little long clocking around 2h 15min. Jack Nicholason is so funny!

Ate a quick lunch then caught GOTHIKA at 2.20pm. Hmm I find this show interesting. Not too scary, not too gory. Just right. Storyline is intruguing and really sets you thinking. One of the rare action shows that I've enjoyed but not enough to entice me for a second helping.

Hmm then rushed off to meet other friends and wow, today there's so many tourism students chilling in Orchard! Serene, Jean, then went to meet Adele and Mel, then bumped into Mahathir, Zhifan, Tracy, Jess, and they claimed they met Chynna, Cheryl and Andrea, and I also saw James and Ross. So I was like everywhere at the same time, with one after another coming to chill at Scotts picnic.

Ate ice cream and left. So tired..

Wednesday, February 18, 2004

Wow today's MBS was was easier than I expected, so shouldn't be much of a problem I guess? I'll still stick with my original aim: 40/50

Went to study at the airport with the guys today cos the TP library got so many people and it's so hard to concentrate there anyway the airport near my house. So along the way decided to say hi to my ex-colleagues at meeting services. Kasmani, Jennifer and Zamidah were there hehe never change at all. Definitely considering going back there in May to work for a month maybe?

So tomorrow's paper is the last one Macroeconomics. Well hopefully acn do well of course. I'm feeling quite confident. SPend the whole day drawing all the graphs again and again and again haha..

Oh gonna watch movie with Wanyi after the paper, my first time.

I am so gonna ace my MBS test tomorrow. I'm not being over-confident. After all I've studied and I'll be damm pissed if I don't do well.

Sad, one of my friends is kinda depressed now. Well I do consider her a friend, don't know if she does. But she's in a big predicament now. Not that she told me, but God gave me ears and eyes for good reasons. Hope she's doing fine. I mean, I don't really know her at all, but somehow I feel very very sad for her. She'll definitely be in my prayers.

Will Young - Leave Right Now

Think I better leave right now, before I fall any deeper
Think I better leave right now, feeling weaker and weaker
Somebody better show me how, before I fall any deeper
I think I better leave right now

Monday, February 16, 2004

Whoa, just finish my Tm Des paper and as expected it was tough! Especially the map section, I was like, whoa. Which country has this funny shape. And some of the global attractions, man, has anyone heard of the Temple of Heaven? Where on earth is it? Damm crap man some of my answers really ridiculous haha. The essay part, luckily I did study India so it wasn't that bad. My aim is still, as usual, 30/50. I think I'll pass.

Alright, so I've got to get back to real business now time is running out. And I can still be blogging just like, 2 hours before my test haha. So well yesterday went out the whole day, which means I'll be really doomed later? Hope not, I'll do my best. Strange thing is that yesterday I received like millions of phone calls from so many peeps asking about the chapters tested and some stuff that'll be out for Tm Des later. Well well I should be the one asking cos I'm really lost too! Oh wow now I'm listening to Too Lost In You, just love their performance on saturday the sugababes..

So yesterday went to Orchard with my family cos my brother just came out from NS and went back in at night haha, finally bought a water bottle for myself at Cineleisure, then went to Marche to eat. After that went to celebrate Tracy's birthday at her house, only a handful came cos she didn't invite a lot. Didn't do much there but watched a very melancholic Moulin Rouge. Sob sob, why did Nicole Kidman die?? Hai.. Oh yes strangely too my friends said they didn't recognise me cos I grew long hair? Haha what a joke my hair isn't that long lor.

Ok people wish me luck later. I can do it.

Sunday, February 15, 2004

You know, I really can't get over yesterday, which is good because I want yesterday to be etched in my memory forever! Strange enough admist all the fun I had, I had no problems sleeping at night. Cos well many of you don't know I might suffer from a self-diagnoused insommnia sometimes. But Amen! I slept so well yesterday! Which is just so amazing.

And I think yesterday, I've just witnessed the extraordinary agape love that God showers upon us. Cos as I think back, the circumstances of the past week, I believe it is through God's grace and love that brought me thus far. Hmm actually my aunt said this year she will have many problems getting tickets to the awards. At most 2 only? But in the end? A whopping, would you believe it, 12 tickets! TWELVE! (Unfortunately my dad took most of it, but nvm it's not important) God really creates wonders huh?

Today is officially the greatest day of my life.

I'm really too lost for words. :)

Ok so went for open house in the morning to see the HTM skit for the 5th time! Not too bad, a lecturer replaced a student and the skit sort of came to life. But same old story lah haha.

Went off to Tm to catch a movie with Denyse called ALONG CAME POLLY. I realise shows that star Ben Stiller are kinda crappy, like Duplex. This one is a little trashy in the storyline, but the humour is light-hearted and much more appreciated than Duplex or even Stuck on you. Kudos to Jennifer Aniston too.

Zoomed off for MTV ASIA AWARDS!!! Woo hoo! Thanks to my dear brother and compassionate father who decided to share their tickets, so Nicole came along too. Wah the show was awesome! So many performances like Stacy Orico - She Bangs man! Simple Plan - Well, a typical Valentine's message huh: sorry I can't be perfect. Gareth Gates - He's the man! What a lovely song awww I'm so lovesick!! Sugababes - The best performance of the night! Love them! Machi/Vanness wu - Rock on! I was dancing man! Boa - Errr, whatever she was singing but it was good! Black Eyed Peas - Oh My! I love them cos they're spreading an anti-war message in where is the love wow! Wah I mean it was a kick ass night man I so enjoyed myself! Except that Blue, Liberty X, 5566 and Michelle Branch didn't perform, but nvm still!

Wah I'm still shaking it's really a great day Amen!

Saturday, February 14, 2004

I'm blogging in the school library now while waiting for some SHSS friends to come for the open house. Hopefully if time permits I'll bring them to LT17 for the HTM skit again haha! Yah anyway I just can't wait for the MTV Asia Awards later oh my I'm so excited! I really am! Even though it'll be my 3rd time going but the stars..wow! Black eyed peas, I wanna see them! Simple Plan - sOrrY I CaN't Be pErFeCt! Liberty X, Sugababes AHHHH!!! I'll just faint okok well now I'm going to do some online studying. Better not forget about the tests next week too ok see ya guys!

*Oh I almost forgot, happy belated birthday to Marcus (TJC) and Ai En (TPJC)!

Happy Valentine's day everyone!

Which also means Happy birthday Shann Long..

Friday, February 13, 2004

Hmm today went back to school for open house again, so went to see the HTM skit haha. Aiyah it's my 4th time watching so didn't really enjoy it cos I know what's gonna happen next. I can memorise the script already haha. But still, kudos to the actors and actresses for being able to live up to the tasks!

So after that went to study in the library with the usual gang, was glad that I managed to do a lot of revision today. Hope that helps cos I'm out the whole day tomorrow and Sunday night too. Hmm went to TM for dinner and dragged all of them to help me choose a Valentine's day gift, thanks pals for your help! Sorry if I'm really fussy or what but no choice! I owe you one!

Thursday, February 12, 2004

Ok so today is TP open house, wow so many people! Erm didn't really see many familiar faces from SHSS? Hmm maybe they'll drop by tomorrow. Saw the HTM skit 3 times today! Seriously I take my hats off the actors for being able to act out everything again and again for like, 2 times/hour? Not easy. But honestly speaking I didn't really like it. It's like the more I see it the worse it gets sorry Karin! I'm just being honest! But I appreciate your efforts! In future I think what the students need to know will be vital course information and not some pre and post TP life. And by the way I still urge everyone reading this to join Tourism instead of hospi. Sorry if I'm being bad but politics is politics.

And my day got marred by a life sciences tutorial right smack in the middle of the afternoon when it's like so fun! But the stupid tutorial sucks! Have no bloody clue what they are asking about the microscope calculations and crap. And I hate group work dammit people from other schools DO YOU HAVE A MOUTH OR NOT WHY AM I TALKING ALL THE TIME!?

Ok I feel much better now. Hmm yah well lots of stuff coming up, seriously it's distracting me from my revision but I'll get back on track ya? Man got breakfast with Del and Mel tomorrow morning, study in school, (I better make sure I study and not chat with them!) and get Valentine's gifts. Then Saturday ooh MTV Asia awards! Sunday, Tracy's birthday dinner. Monday - Thursday tests, Friday Ms Tan's baby anniversary/clubbing at SOS. Saturday ACJC Fun-o-rama, SHSS comm service, Shasha's birthday oh man wow

Erm today's dinner is great cos my aunt from US cooked chicken and mashed potatoes instead of the usual stuff from Grandma wow loved it! Wish I could eat like that everyday then people won't say I'm thin :(

Wednesday, February 11, 2004

Seriously if I don't do well for the mid semester tests next week I'll really kill myself. I mean I'm really studying my eyes out for the past couple of days but sometimes it may not be just engrossing yourself in books that will help you score right? Especially for MBs and Tourism destinations there's really information overload. Anyhow I must do well!

I'm really hating my Life Sciences subject I so regret putting it down as one of my choices. It's really taking up too much of my time, like today, had to go to school for that 1 hour lecture in the evening and that's about it. I mean why can't they just compress everything up? And tutorial tomorrow, man, I overhead another class saying there's gonna be like a close-book quiz. Crap.

And Cosmo skipped lecture again which means I was so lonely today.

I can't wait for Saturday I think it's gonna be the best day of my life. Without a doubt.

Tuesday, February 10, 2004

GEN! Where are you? Are you quitting school? Man your notes are piling up in my file. Don't quit! If not MBS must reshuffle groupings again.

MBS Revision lecture turned out to be anything but revision. Crap.

Hmm yah nothing much lah. Just got the latest Outkast CD that won 2 grammys. It's a double CD so I haven't finish listening to it but so far, so good. Gives me a great alternative away from my usual Britney Spears stuff.

I'm advertising for TP open house 12-14 Feb do come to Business school thanks.

Monday, February 09, 2004

I saw something weird today. For some reason, I was on this SBS bus home (no.10 as usual) and it stopped at this stop lah. Then these 2 Chinese guys entered the bus through the exit! And still tapped ther EZ-LINK card on the exit reader! FAILED! Haha it's so crap man people nowadays.

Ok back to serious school business.

Seriously, wassup with some of my classmates who keep missing school? If I had my way I couldn't care less about them, but being class rep means I have roles to fulfill. Damm.

Erm there's really nothing much in school today worth blogging. Same old story.

Sunday, February 08, 2004

*Thanks Nicole for your help*

These photos were taken on Saturday night. Upi's birthday party.

Wow wow hello again, sorry peeps I've been really busy for the past few days so couldn't blog at all. Actually I'm like super busy right now but taking a take-5 before I rush my work again.

[Friday]

Oh wow Friday was a great day for me because my team won the HTM Olympics! Yahoo! So special heartfelt thanks goes out to my team mates iz, muhd, hid and rach for pulling through! The feeling of winning this is tremendous, to come out tops in a tough competition like this is incredible and I thank God for it. Hmm actually the first match we played in the knockout was horrible. Our opponents, the hospitality year 1s were really unsporting and uncouth, can't stand this sort of behaviour. They get fouled and make a big fuss out of it. Seriously they should just get a life man. Both guys and gals alike. No wonder the service industry in Singapore is getting from bad to worse because of such behaviour.

Saturday, such a tiring day. Went to school in the morning to play soccer wth some of Ashraf's friends, then was so tired so took a cab home. Rushed off to PS to meet the rest of them like Chynna, Cheryl, Mahathir, Aaron, Fan, James, Ash. Tried to used my GV card to get free movies passes but realised that the card can't be used on Saturdays after 5pm! So no choice we paid the full price to watch STUCK ON YOU at 6pm. Erm, not the best of comedy shows lah and like Chynna said it was more of a touching story of 2 conjoined twins who wanted to lead separate lives. Yah then after the movie no time for dinner, rushed off to Cineleisure to meet Nicole, Dom and Chelsea where we took a cab to club street for a birthday party. Wow so many ang mohs were there, around my age and they were paying so much money to drink the whole night! Wonder where these young kids got the cash from. Didn't like the atmosphere cos they smoking non-stop and I hate it. Yup at 11pm Nicole's mum came to fetch me to the train station.

Sunday. My aunt from America flew in to stay with us for 2 weeks and we had a big lunch where all my relatives came over. Wow, she bought so many sweets and chocolates back! I ate so much candy! So if I have a sore throat soon you know why hor. Then just coincidently my aunt, that one who works in Mediacorp just came back from Korea and we went to her house to grab some gifts back. Yah and my aunties were like fighting over all the clothes and bags haha! Actually I'm supposed to have this Calvin Klein gift pack with a nice shirt and a cologe inside but my aunties wanted it too so haiyah I gave them lah!

Oh yah we bought a few tubs of Haagen Daz ice-cream, came home, open them and ate so much! Haagen Daz ice cream is raellt the best in the world! I love the lemon and mango flavour!

Ah okok I'm so tired so see ya all soon

testing 123

Friday, February 06, 2004

What a crap day. But somehow I don't feel frustrated.

Let's blog backwards.

I just finished my MBS. Actually could have finished it about an hour earlier but my mum's laptop got problem and Zhi Fan's diskette got stuck! Hai luckily I didn't type much, just around 3/4 of a page and I managed to retype everything within 10 minutes. Then, just continue doing it. Don't know if what I'm doing is correct cos I'm really weak in this subject. Never mind.

American Idol was cool! The song the guys sang, "Never Gonna Give You Up', is actually one of my favourite songs! Sob sob they actually forgot the lyrics! Shame on you!

Had dinner at Coco Steamboat Takashimaya. Erm, ok only lah. Can't really compare to Seoul Garden, my favourite.

Life Sciences practical was sian! Had to examine my cheek cell under a microscope. Done that like 10 billion times with Mdm Zulaiha is Sec 4 lor! Hai hai hai can't they do more sophiticated stuff, like making an atomic bomb or something so I can put in my enemy's trousers and see him bombard to Mars.

Today's tourism project meeting was fruitful. At least we've got more and more things settled. Everyone's acting more like a group member now. So it's definutely full marks for peer appraisal for everyone.

Ok that's about it. Good night.

Wednesday, February 04, 2004

One of my friends, knew him about a month or so, now don't know what's going on with him. Either he's genuinely acting weird, or he's genuinely normal and I can't seem to accept that. I really don't know how to elaborate. In the past we didn't actually have a lot to talk about, and now it seems even a 'hi' is like solving a Maths equation: you've gotta think of different ways to do it. Anyway I wish him all the best? Thanks all I can say right.

I think I'm suffering from movie withdrawal symptons. During the holidays it's like Cineleisure every day watching free movies all the time. Now it gets better: Cineleisure and any Golden Village cinema! But sad! I've like only watched 2 movies this year (excluding the movie marathon with my family during CNY) and it's like, just so sad! Sigh hey anyone of you who think you might wanna get to know me better, or already know me, or wanna catch up with me, tell me! I'll treat you to any movie for free! Sounds good? (Don't blackmail me ah)

Ok, today wasn't so good and I seriously don't know who to blame. So I happily went for my Life Sciences test and I'm 100% positively confidently sure that the lecturer, Ms Joyce Koh, mentioned that only Topics 1 and 2 will be tested. I remembered she even wrote it on transparency. SO HOW COME QUESTIONS FROM TOPICS 3 AND 4 APPEARED? I was like, so shocked! I just stared at the question! My mind was blank! Hai, thankfully I'm very attentive during lecture and I was a pure Biology student, if not I can forget about even passing the test. Now? Passing won't be a problem, but there goes my distinction :(

About my tourism project, it's like, only 1 more month till we hand in and everytime we meet it's just 'we should do this, we should do that'. And Jess was complaining how come we don't have any questions to ask Ms Tan during consultation. Ha, I think if I were doing this alone I would have been halfway there already. Not to degrade my group mates, but sometimes, group work just frustrates me. I'm being very brutally honest. It's proven that I'm an intrapersonal person. So well, dear God, please grant me patience and the ability to synergise.

But I'm making good progress with my MBS project. Hehehe.

American Idol is becoming more and more crap. Can't wait for Singapre Idol.

The road to success is narrow and long
Difficulties hit from the time you were born
Fill your heart with gladness and song
Never give up, you won't go wrong

Where art thou, when I need you most?
Who remains humble, thou shall not boast
Lead me to victory, uphold my post
In Him I travel from coast to coast

Without you, I am only just a fool
My days will be of the colour blue
Our love sticks together as undivided as glue
I need you so, in everything I do

Tuesday, February 03, 2004

Oh gosh I need one more gal to complete my team for HTM Olympics. Any gals out there in HTM wanna play soccer?

Hmm kinda crap day in school lor. Got project meeting in the morning, didn't really accomplish much. Though I have to give extra credit to group leader Jess for her tenacity and determination to get things done. But exactly a month left before submission. We better start working.

TTB lecture, for once I should say, is crap. That Ivy Tan was lecturing about how to become a tour guide and all her jokes were crude. Not that I'm in no mood for jokes, but it's awful to listen to some slapstick humour that she incorporates into her teaching 24/7. Like, every single point she cracks a joke for nothing and it's so tiring hearing the same old stories again.

MBS lecture, as usual, always feel it's a waste of time. Cos they teach us sooooooooo much, but they will give away all the answers during revision lecture, which is what I'm waiting for.

I can't sleep. Midnight already. Got school in the morning. Sigh. Erm, went shopping at Far East Plaza today with my 2 brother, mummy and auntie. Got an ang pow from auntie.
She just returned from HK. Got to meet Alan Tam in person. Saw all the photos she took. Hmm by the way it leads to a point that digital cameras aren't that useful sometimes. The photos she took with her compact camera were lovely! So clear! You could keep that for life! Whereas photos on digital cam can't really be stored properly. Am I right?

So I'll go back to composing poems. I'm very sleepy now, so all I'm writing will be crap.

The stars shine so brightly at night
I try to sleep with all my might
Out came a ghost, so pale so white!
It made me yell in fright!

What could I do, to chase it away?
It look so horrible, just like a gay!
I took my gun and made him pay
Now I can sleep soundly till the next day

Good night

Fact of life: I'm a great poet. Notice how everything rhymes. Read on and post your comments.

The birth of a new horizon
Dawning of a new day
Will the birds sing?
Or will the sky be gray?

The passion of life
Lies in ice-cream
I wish for one now
it's only a dream

My head was bald
I stood so tall
Shopping in Tampines Mall
Such splendour and awe

Britney rocks my world
She's one hot girl
Makes my head swirl
and my hair curl

School drives me nuts
Just like egg tarts
I need more guts
Or I'll get cuts

Life has no power
Like a dead flower
When I wake from slumber
The dogs run for cover

I went on a date without my mummy
We went skydiving, it was so sunny
She fell of the plane, it was so funny!
Thank God she landed on my tummy

"I'm so tired, let's go back" she said
And that's the end of our Valentine's date
The memories of that day will never fade
She was, in fact, my Indonesian maid

I watched a wee bit of World Idol just now. It's a competition where all Idol winners from all over the world compete for the title of World Idol. Obviously only Kelly Clarkson (American Idol) and Will Young(UK Idol) were the familiar faces, but neither won! (Though Kelly came in second). The winner was from Norway, who sounded and looked like a frog. Pathetic judges.

Oh yah, I love these songs a lot. Listening to them all over and over again..
1. Jay Chou - Yi Fu Zhi Ming
2. Westlife - Mandy
3. Jason Mraz - You & I both
4. Britney Spears - Toxic/Everytime
5. Vic Zhou - Remember I love you
6. 5566 - Shou Hou
7. Atomic Kitten - Ladies Night

Mahathir was kinda sick so couldn't come my house for CNY with the other guys. Anyway, with my maid on holiday, the house really resembles a garbage dump. Especially my room. I can't bear to look at it! So when the house is in much proper order then I'll call my friends over some time.

Went swimming today at my Aunt's condo in Changi. Actually my mum banned me from swimming for one year but I couldn't care less. Her reason? Because the fortune teller said so! Hello!? So if the fortune teller says I'm gonna fail my exams this year then I don't go to school ah? Am I supposed to let a fortune teller take control of my life? Absolutely rubbish. I don't believe in such things. Fortune tellers are crap. Don't they better things to do than predict people's life?

Oh yah Happy birthday Josephine!
