MY NEVER ENDING LOVE FOR SHOES..

Photobucket

(Thanks to Jules Lau via omgwtfjules.wordpress.com)
(available at phixclothing.com)

How can anyone not fall in love with this pair of shoes? Doesn't matter if you're a girl, just staring at this pair will make you curse yourself for being born a female. But ladies, if you're feeling generous, get this for your husband/boyfriend/best friend or whatever guy friend because this will melt any guy. I love how the checkered black and white pattern fits perfectly into the all black background; wearing this is like back to 80s retro boogie wonderland for me!

And I'm definitely going to Orchard tomorrow for more shoe shopping. I'm such a shopaholic!

Yesterday was a pretty emotional day because it was my colleague's farewell dinner before she leaves Singapore for good. Going to Canada to work with her boyfriend. Like the good life man!

Not any other ordinary colleague because she's the closest to me in the whole company and the sad part is that we hardly flew together; to be exact only twice for the whole 15 months! In fact, we've taken so many steps to try and be rostered together, swopping flights and even writing directly to Australia operations to try and buddy fly but alas, it seems we weren't meant to be.

FISH AND CO TAMPINES MALL!

That's our guest of honour Jia, together with Ibrahim, who was my ex-colleague in CX and now we're in JQ together!

These are all my batchmates!

Here are a couple more photos from my Cairns trip. This is my lovely colleague Joyce who is flirting with snakes!

Photobucket

Photobucket

This is at the Cairns night market, something like a pasr malam but with more services like massage, fortune telling and lots of food. This was at the snake parlour and you can take photos with all sorts of snakes, errr no thanks though. Never in a million years will I even touch those evil creatures. PSSSSSSSTT.

So one week of leave and to summarise, I have done absolutely nothing but eat and sleep all days. Plans to hit the gym and pool have mostly been thwarted by the torrential rains so I'm pretty sure I'm at least 5 kg heavier.

And of course, loads and loads of movies. Skip this section if you're not a fan of my completely biased and inaccurate movie reviews!

IRONMAN 2

Photobucket

Very simply, you're better off watching The Ellen DeGeneres talk show. Such an obvious action packed show turned out to be nothing but talking and more talking. A complete let down, but I'm sure you've probably watched this by the time you are reading this.

THE BOUNTY HUNTER

Photobucket

Typical Jen An fan fare, there wasn't much to rave about but a few funny moment between Butler and Jen saved this movie nonetheless. Useless storyline, but quick comic relief.

DISTRICT 13

Photobucket

A movie to celebrate the rise of parkour in the community today, this is one great exciting show that will leave you completely breatheless! Now that's what I call a great fighting show! Donnie Yen, screw you and your wing chun. Go back to china or taiwan or india or wherever you're from and eat your char siew bao.

ROBIN HOOD

Photobucket

Who steals from the rich and gives to the poor? Rockin Robin of course! And like this chivalrous act, Russell Crowe and co put up a fantastic 2.5 hour movie that is well worth any ticket price. So do what is right - steal from the rich and buy tickets for the poor to watch Robin Hood!

THE LOSERS

Photobucket

Let me tell you some thing about The Losers - the theme song is Don't Stop Believin, which is also the theme song of the loser show, GLEE. Get it? Ok anyway, there's absolutely nothing loserish about this show. Didn't quite like the twist towards the end but ultimately, this is also worth every cent!

And finally, it's completely random but I so wanna grow bangs like Bieber.

I was on facebook and I realised many guys have bangs too! This is the new in thing!

Well here are some photos from my recent Cairns trip. It was a humongously big group of us that went there and from Cairns we flew off to either Darwin/Narita/Osaka/Singapore and did our flights so we gathered the night before to organise a bbq!

Photobucket

First up, off to grab the wine! I love Australian wine because it's sweet and it's dirt cheap! The wine here in Singapore is extortion.

Photobucket

My choice of wine - FIZZY PASSION POP. Because I am a kid and I can't take alcohol.

All the cheap bbq from the supermarket!

A pathetic shot of all of us which you can't really see shit!

The second night was much more eventful. One of the passengers was admiring one of my colleagues and she invited her, along with the rest of us to his restaurant. Location - Hilton Hotel Cairns.

It was panic manic for most of us as in Cairns, we don't usually dress up as it's so laid back and everyone walks around in shorts, tees and slippers. Fortunately, I came back from Japan so I had a pair of jeans and brand new clothes which I bought from Uniqlo and it came in handy after all!

It was an excellent Thai restaurant!
