Finished Module 1 classes today, on a public holiday morning. Woke up at 7am just to finish my presentation. Wonderful. Outing with Primary 3 schoolmates again, I literally slept through The Prestige because of the Panadol effect I guess, but the movie's not too bad, obviously very deep for someone like me. Skipped Singapore Idol concert in the end, didn't think it was a big deal. Feeling like a sick bird now. HAZE HAZE GO AWAY.

Oh yah Death Note is a great great show, 5/5 for me, go catch it and afterwards, buy the Death Note notebook!

If I remember correctly, the most expensive ticket to be ever sold for a concert here was $500 for The Eagles, which, from my knowledge, is a great band with a great history, and a great song.....ok justifiable.

$888 for a Korean pop star !?

With $888, I could fly to Korea on Cathay, get an average-priced ticket and still have spare cash for a hearty korean bbq lah.


Ok Friday night was a very special dinner with Primary 3 mates, Marcus says it all in his journal..

It's like a dream. I can't believe it. The last time we met was like more than 10 years I suppose. That is one whole solid decade. Primary 3,4 gathering is almost unheard of. My memory of those years is almost non-existant. How strange it was, to be meeting again after all those years, reminding each other of the stories of those years. Oh what stories they must be, to be able to linger in our mind for so long. The next gathering must be a bigger affair. No less.

Ok so uni life has officially begun for me. So all this talk about having so much readings to do in uni is indeed true. And the worst thing is that the readings supposed to have started ages ago, but the lazy me only decided to collect my notes yesterday, during orientation. And the amount of readings is APPALLING. 10 readings, and each reading is 30 pages.

3000 PAGES.

And the projects are so standard - 'write a 2000 word essay about.......'

6 FREAKING PROJECTS. 12, 000 WORDS. (I might as well write a book)

And not mention, burned weekends and PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. So goodbye to singapore idol concert on oct 24.

I was thinking, I would be struggling even if I wasn't in army. Now I have to juggle 8-5 and this degree!

My BMT mate is a Pes E medic and he is forced to do WEEKEND GUARD DUTY.

Ok so the pestbusters came, going for the rats!
Fortunately for me, it wasn't cats :(
We searched the places where they were hiding
Set up traps that proved so blinding

Glue was the solution, thick and hard
To catch the rats when they were way off guard
Once they got stuck, they will rot and die!
It's the end to our woes and sighs!

I spent the whole weekend playing golf, and my aunt says that I should play more. I didn't really complete a course, just whacking balls in the driving range. Whacked about 200 balls in 2 days, now having a sore shoulder cos my aunt accidentally swung the club at me when she demo, luckily wasn't full force. But I should play more! Addicted to golf!
