The phases of radio in Singapore has certainly changed over the years. Used to listen to 987 all the time back in school, especially Say It With Music with Jean Danker. Then she moved over to Class 95 and produced the most boring drive-time show ever. But Iz may have rekindled by love for 987 during last night's mahjong session where we were listening to 'Muttons to Midnight' by The Muttons. They had a segment where listeners called in to tell jokes - such a simple concept but it was enough to leave me in stitches!

The tagline for Ratatouille is 'Anyone Can Cook'.

What sort of a tagline is that? I can't cook okay. And for that matter, Ratatouille was a complete let down. I would say it was by far the worst movie of 2007 so far, so don't watch it! Even if you have a free gold class ticket in GV, throw it away and save 2 hours of your life. Watch High School Musical or something else.

And on that note, the pilot for Prison Break Season 3 is out! It was an awesome start, Michael Scofield is incredibly smart. This is the must watch series of 2007!


My whole point on cooking was evident at work today. After buying what must be hundreds of tea everyday, I decided to try and make my own tea instead. Tea wakes me up and it doesn't taste as yucky as coffee or as sweet as Red Bull, which, by itself, is a whopping $2.80/can.

And it was a complete disaster. I mean, it's in the genes. I absolutely cannot cook, let alone make tea! I just don't understand why the tea I drink in Mac Donald's taste so delectable but when I make my own, I could barely even take a sip. It's the same - the tea bag, pour hot water, add sugar, add creamer. The same brand of tea, sugar and creamer. Someone just enlighten me. I wasted a few packets of tea bag trying to make a perfect concoction, like perhaps adjusting the amount of sugar and creamer, but it just made my tea worse. Argh. I thought I could save 50 cents everyday but NO!

To think I even tried to bake cookies a few years ago with Mel and it looked like Tau Sia Pia. Remember Mel? Just because I couldn't understand the instruction 'a pinch of salt'. Ouch.

Today's bowling was an absolute disaster. I should quit bowling! (Hmm, in the first place, I never picked it up anyway) So there I was, with the entire Marina Bay bowling lanes full to the brim, getting ready at lane 29 - taking the ball, getting into position, crouching low, trying to get my target: the middle pin. I took flight, unleashed all my strength and rolled the ball out... and then it happened. My speed took me too far out and onto the lane itself, which would have been a foul if it was a competition. Soon I couldn't stop moving forward, and I found myself literally perched a metre off the line, and it felt like I was ice-skating on a greasy oil surface. Desperately trying to steady myself and back off, my legs got entangled and friction was making it so hard to regain my composure..

AND OF COURSE WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT.

Did you feel the tremors? No, it didn't come from the earthquake in Indonesia. Apparently there was no reporter present to cover the actual story where a seemingly grossly overweight Pes E NSF fell on his bum, and a loud thud wasn't the only thing he created.

I would say this one is much better than the first, go catch it if you can. The songs are way too awesome, I'm playing the soundtrack over and over again! Ok never mind that Gabriella girl got exposed on the net. She's not that pretty anyway haha.

BRITNEY SPEARS IS BACK!!!

Back from KL, it was like any other trip. Shopping to the ultimate madness even though the sale just ended. Dad's apartment is very simple but it really reminds me of my own Simpang back home when there are loads of supper options 24 hours. So in typical Singaporean fashion, went out for prata and Milo float and though it's great, NOTHING BEATS SIMPANG.

This week saw me really active in my army unit, something which I don't usually confine myself to. Had a BBQ cum chalet during the week at SAF chalets, then it was my first ever cohesion day with everyone at Sentosa.
