If I hear the song 'You're Beautiful' By James Blunt one more time, I will persoanlly trash the radio out of the window. I mean, enough of that song. Fine, it's soppy, romantic and leaves you teary-eyed, but all I hear now is a dying dog singing 'You're Beautiful, You're Beautiful...' I absolutely detest songwriters who display a lack of vocabulary. I don't understand why everybody is hooked on that song like a drug.


Today was my unit's BBQ treat from my ex-commander. Arrived early in the afternoon straight from work to my colleague's condo and realised I had acres of time, so I decided to head down to the pool for a swim.

It's great to be back in the pool! Ever since my op, I had been avoiding swimming because apparently the chlorine wouldn't be good for my eye and wearing goggles won't really help, but I guess a little dip in the pool wouldn't hurt. After all, I endured a back-breaking white water rafting expedition back in West Virginia and several short retreats at the hotel pool in Los Angeles. But today I decided to go head in and do some serious laps, really tired myself out after 1 hour. By the way, the pool at Mandarin Gardens is massive! Probably the biggest in Singapore. After 1 lap I was panting like a dying dog.

The bbq was a great pig out, I was literally whacking the marshmallows the whole night. Managed to know some of my officers better, and finally, I get cordially invited to play soccer with them at Bendemeer! SCREW MY PES E STATUS. Yes I'm the weakest of them all but I'm certainly not so vulnerable.
