As much as I've just turned 19, I am very tempted to watch Brokeback Mountain, the highly acclaimed Ang Lee love story that is, sadly, R21. Oprah did a documentary on the two lead actors and I was kinda drawn into how much publicity that show had received in America and its life-changing impacts. I seriously doubt there will be enough sexual content to make me cringe as much as I did when heads flew and blood splattered during Final Destination 3, but then again, it's really mature content, and I'm not sure how much will I be able to stomach.

Anyone game?

CX has expressed their intentions to bring me back to the airport for part-time work, but I am unsure about all the contractual stuff to be settled because of my impending NS and some overseas trips I am planning before I serve the nation. Oh well, better than nothing!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to try authentic Brazilian cuisine! It was well worth every cent, and my favourite dish?

Chicken heart!

I HAVE (un)OFFICIALLY GRADUATED FROM TP WITH A DIPLOMA IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT.

Ok obviously haven't been updating for some time. It's not that I was busy mugging for the exams actually. I mean, I just think after the discharge things haven't turned out better as I've expected. All I can say is, I haven't done anything wrong.

Quite obvious that I'm in the news also. Before you jump the gun, I would like to clarify some issues.

-I DID NOT PUT LIPSTICK. =X
-Yes I mentioned that I was diligent, but I never said anything about going 'by the book', which means it is a slight misquote and in the first place I would never say that because that's cliche english and it's not in my dictionary.
-I just knew that I'm also in the Chinese papers, and that's crazy because I never did an interview with them (in english or chinese) and I certainly don't think it's right to translate the english version into chinese just like that.
-The photographer snapped almost 50 shots of me in the school toilet and they chose the ugliest of them all =XXX

Will I sue RENU?

Ok, on a lighter note, finished exams and school like I said, both papers totally sucked big time, but wth. After this, it's back to my havoc lifestyle? Or maybe not.

Post-exam celebration at Hard Rock.
The photos will speak for themselves.

Spinning Jay Chou // Shan Hu Hai

*Updates*

Ok so after all, I won't be retaining another semester because I failed to to meet the minimum requirements for NE. Ms Ivy Tan said there will be one after exams, which means I cannot have any travel plans till then. Sulks.

I've checked OLE for all my HTS grades. Totally disappointing. Honestly, it's so unfair ok.

Ms Oh said my weightage for calculus exam is now a whopping 70%. Which effectively means I definitely can't afford to fail and judging from the revision lecture I really need to work my brains off next week.

The worst thing? NAPFA test on Friday/Saturday. I need a miracle to pass.

I WILL BE RETAINING ONE MORE SEMESTER.

Yes thanks to NE talk. Well done TP cancelled the last NE talk tomorrow which means I have not fulfilled the minimum requirement for NE which means I CANNOT GRADUATE.

Yes freaking wonderful had to see the course manager, Ms Jackie Ong and Ms Zhangwei today and yah all pleading my case but wth like I'm the only one meh.

Oh well. Sorry Singapore, yours truely will have to defer NS again.

It's been a week since I'm out of SGH!

Random random thoughts. Well sometimes, when you take life for granted, this is what you get. You expect to wake up everyday, open your eyes and see the familiar surroundings of your room. Looking back, it still haunts me. Everything about that traumatic 2 weeks. The very first day I experienced those pains. The subsequent visits to CGH, and then to SGH, the preparation for the transplant, the op on Jan 24, and the pain for the next 24 hours, and the long recovery period. At times you just wonder whether you're still living in this bubble, that what happened is just a figment of my imagination, and then soon you'll awake from this slumber. But no, reality grips me harder each waking day.

But nevertheless, a classic example of what doesn't kill you will make you stronger, something that I never believed in. But what God has put me through has really put forth many important insights in my life, strengthened bonds between my family and friends who I have been distant and gave me a life changing experience like none other.

Of course the good news is that I'm on the road to recovery. You don't know how eager I await the day when I will wake up in the morning and both my eyes are working well, just like my past 19 years. It's a long road, but having been through so much, it's worth the wait I guess.

A big thanks now, to all my friends who have been continually supporting me. Big shout out especially to my CPM group - you don't know how eternally grateful I am to you guys for putting in that extra effort towards the end. I owe you guys big!

Hope 2006 will continue to be blessed for me :)
