Last wednesday I was involved in a photoshoot for the Zouk anniversary and here's some of the behind-the-scenes shots! These will also be up in Ion Orchard some time in October so look out for it.

The little men!

Photobucket

All of us!

Photobucket

Photobucket

One of the few leaked shots! And my favourite shot!

Photobucket

The Youth Olympic Games Committee should consider using all of us for their event song/dance. Don't you all agree? Can I have a loud OH YEAH OH YEAH from everyone please? Thanks. Cos that's a really awesome photo! (And you have no idea how sore our arms were!)

And this was Vernon's birthday celebrations on Friday!

First stop was dinner at Din Tai Fung! XIAO LONG BAO BAO BAO!

Photobucket

And it was a surprise dinner for him, all thanks to his girlfriend who fooled him into thinking it was only the 2 of them. Meanwhile, the rest of us were on strict instructions not to update location on foursqaure / facebook / twitter! Because we did that last time and our surprise got busted!

Photobucket

That's seriously one funky cake. But sorry, I still want my newcastle cake for my birthday.

Photobucket

Photobucket

HELLO.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Onward to DBL O! It's now in a brand new location. Unfortunately, the club sucks. The dancefloor is horrendously puny. So, defnitely our first and last time there.

THREE SECONDS shots for everyone. I honestly don't know what shit was that.

Photobucket

Whoever took this shot, please attend photography classes. Tsk tsk! How can the camera strap be in the photo! So unprofessional!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Someone's obviously drunk.

Photobucket

That's me sneaking a green tea. Yes, pure green tea. Vodka-free green tea.

Photobucket

But Shawn caught me and I'm busted. Wahaha.

Photobucket

But I don't remember being on the floor leh. Hmmmm.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

The buddies were there too for Paulala's birthday! Surprised to see Kun finally clubbing. Of course, not surprised to see Sarah since she clubs every day and she's gonna die of liver cancer before her wedding on 11.11.2011.

Yesterday on my flight home from Cairns, we've received news about a colleague suffering a heart attack and he couldn't be revived.

It was quite shocking for everyone. A 32-year old guy getting a heart attack? Wasn't it only a few months back we were in Japan, happily partying the night away? And another friend told me he was in Melbourne just 3 days ago taking his crew exam.

I know it's the hard truth that everyone knows but the fact that life is so fragile just hit me again.

Rest in peace Shannon. Thanks for the memories and you will always have a special place in everyone's hearts.

Definitely not fun to fall sick! It's Thursday, one of my favourite days of the week because that's when we have new movies but bleah, don't think I have enough energy to drive out and freeze myself cold in the cinema. Quite sure it's the aftermath of my long 9-day Perth trip where it was way too cold and then coming back to warm and sunny Singapore. It's not easy for the body to acclimatise to such extreme weathers and that's when vitamins come into play (apparently not enough!)

Anyway yesterday was the long-awaited photoshoot at Zouk (nope, photos are not in yet!) and it was quite pleasant getting to know everyone and doing a great shoot. I mean these are people that I see week in week out but we don't really know 'know' each other, get what I mean right. The hardest part was trying to remain still while we were dosed with a massive wave of carbon doixide that steamed down from the top. And it was really a HUGE wave, so much that we had to retake some scenes because everyone's hair was too untidy!

Okay I have no idea why I'm writing such a useless post but I'm off to Cairns/Narita on Sunday and it's with one of my batchmates whom we've had a little problems of late. Hopefully we'll use this trip and try to right the wrongs, since I'm not someone who likes to bear grudges and carry burdens on my shoulder. And his friendship means a lot to me so let's keep it that way.

Last but not least, my birthday is coming. Four more months, so I don't care how you guys do it but if you are my best friend then GET ME THIS CAKE and I will give you the biggest ang pow when you get married.

My love and support knows no boundaries.

Back once again, and apologies for my long 'MC'. Pretty much occupied with a very long Perth trip and of course the world cup with Espana being crowned the champions! Ah, not like I support them anyway, but please do NOT win Euro 2012. I can't imagine Spain winning THREE major championships. That's just disgusting. Give England a chance. Don't be so mean ah Torres and Fabregas.

So it was my first ever 9 days Perth, as with any other trips, I'm always the last one to get rostered new trips. Extremely relaxing pattern; work one day off one day. Considering Perth has no time dfference, it makes it even easier because my body clock is not screwed up as compared to my Japan flights which really make me go bonkers. However, world cup was on so it was quite a number of sleepless nights and red bulls too!

This was the very last day when all of us took a trip down to fremantle!

On the train!

Photobucket

Winter + raining! Definitely regretted not bringing more winter clothes!

Italian biscuits! Nice, but I tell you, the price even nicer. I think the biscuits are coated with foie gras or something.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Tea break time! Hot chocolate and churros!

Photobucket

Photobucket

This was the best hot chocolate I've ever drank. It's a mix of bitter dark chocolate and creamy milk. OOOOOH. Starbucks, you're not even close man. Seriously.

Photobucket

And the churros OOOOOH. The CHURRRRROS.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Crispy churros coated in cinnamon sugar with a choice of 3 dips - white chocolate, dark chocolate and caramel!

Do we even have churros in Singapore? I don't think so right?

I licked the entire cup of white chocolate dip!

Photobucket

Photobucket

OOOOOOOOH CHURRRRRRRROS.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

A damm stupid sign on the train. If you are a student paying 50 cents fare, you should give up your seats to adults.

Photobucket

Sorry Australia but I don't understand your warped logic.

That's like saying if people on my flight buy a $0 fare, they must give up their seats to those paying a full fare.

I think it makes sense to give up your seat to those who need it more, like Singapore's priority seat, but to give up your seat to a fully capable adult? Just because your fare is cheaper? How does this even make sense? It's first come first serve on the train! It doesn't matter what fare you pay!

Yet another reason why I loathe THAT country. Tsk.

MORE ROC CANDY!

Photobucket

Photobucket

As usual, TIM TAMS. My fridge is officially a tim tam factory outlet.

Photobucket

And finally, couldn't resist buying a new pair of world cup cufflinks!

Photobucket

Yellow and red card!

FOUR DAMM MOVIES.

TWILIGHT ECLIPSE

Photobucket

Still haven't caught the second twilight movie before watching this but doesn't matter, not as if I don't know what's going on. Still thought the first one was much better but Eclipse, in general, doesn't disappoint. As Sarah pointed out, Bella is, as usual, still a slut and she's gonna become a vampire soon! Can't wait!

TRIPLE TAP

Photobucket

This is not your typical Hong Kong movie. Not much fighting, a whole lot of talking, but surprisingly, I enjoyed it immensely! The storyline is roughly similar to Law abiding Citizen about questioning a corrupt justice system and taking matters into your own hands. Very entertaining and for once, it's nice to see Daniel Wu playing a good guy!

CHLOE

Photobucket

Chloe is an R21 show starring my current favourite actress, Mamma Mia's very own Amamnda Seyfried. Chloe is a psychological thriller about cheating in relationships and going all out to uncover the truth. A short 90 minute film, but it kept me on tenterhooks throughout and the dramatic ending was just brilliant! It's R21 though, so be prepared for some, erm, uncomfortable moments, if you know what I mean!

DESPICABLE ME

Photobucket

Steve Carrell is GRU, a villain who dreams of stealing the moon with the rest of his oompa loompas or minions, which is what he calls them. By far, this is one of the best cartoon movies I have ever seen, way better than Up or Finding Nemo! Couldn't help laughing throughout the whole show! Don't miss this one!

Alright off to bed, photoshoot tomorrow! Till next time!
