Well back once more after a long break off blogging and as you can see from my schedule, it's a 3-week break from work now! December was just horrendous. Did an extremely long trip and after that, was so looking forward to Taipei but I had to change plans as the flights were full, so it was Ho Chi Minh instead. Church camp last week to end it off was an amazing 3 days for me just to renew myself spiritually and I have to say I was tremedously inspired by the retreat.

Here's some pics from my solo Vietnam trip. Free ticket, can't complain. Didn't really go out as much as I would have loved to but this was sort of a destresser and I spent quite a lot of time just lazing in my cheapo hotel room to recuperate from all my work baggage!

In short - it's a very poor 3rd world country, worlds apart from places like KL and Bangkok. People there are quite poor, things are extremely cheap and food is quite good but not as fantastic as Thailand. Not many attractions worth visiting unless you travel outskirts into Northern regions to Halong.

Good experience nonetheless!

Church Camp at JB Pulai Springs Resort. My first time here and it's a humongous resort with all the facilities you could ever dream of! Won't mind coming back here again!

This is my group, and prior to the camp I hardly knew anyone else out of my cell group so it was great to finally meet new people who have a passion for Christ!

These places are where I left my footprints in 2010..

DARWIN
SYDNEY
MELBOURNE
CAIRNS
GOLD COAST
BRISBANE
PERTH
HONOLULU
LAS VEGAS
SALT LAKE CITY
NEW YORK
ORLANDO
NARITA
OSAKA
HO CHI MINH CITY
KUALA LUMPUR
BANGKOK
PHUKET

18 cities in 365 days. Can't say that God haven't blessed me this year. Not many of us have the priviledge to travel the world and get paid in the process, and 2 years into this job, I really thank God for this opportunity to see so many places that most can only dream of. I'm sure He will bless me more abundantly in the coming year and it is my dream to travel and conquer Europe next year so hopefully I've got the time and resources to do so!

See you in 2011! Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!

One of the more interesting stuff that I found in Japan:

Very pumpkin-y!

It's freeezing here in Narita and unfortunately, all I've got is just a simple windbreaker. My dad hijacked my humongous bag that I use for all my long trips as he's got a long trip of his own so I couldn't fit everything into my mid-sized bag. A winter jacket easily occupies a quarter of that bag and being away for 12 days, I simply cannot afford that.

Anyway, all's good, met up with my batchies for dinner and we were just reminiscing about our days in ground school 2 years ago. How time flies. Almost half of us have left and I hardly see any of them with so many new crew coming through. Tomorrow we're gonna have a good lunch and we don't know when we'll bump into each other again. That's the nature of my job. Thousands of colleagues; some you may fly very often with, and some probably once a year.

Looking forward to the end of this 12 days trip! It's a 3 day trip to Taiwan, my first ever trip there! Heard so much about that place and so it's about time! Nothing's 100% confirmed though. I'm booked on staff travel (FREE OF CHARGE) so I'll only get on if the flight is not full. Right now it's about 10 empty seats both ways so fingers crossed. Then it's my 3-day church camp in JB and then a long 10 day break in Florida/New York!

Alright this is a pretty random post, I have no idea what I'm sputtering and I kinda feel like Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network (minus the part about breaking up with his girlfriend!) Just opening my laptop at night and blogging shite. Who knows? Maybe I'll create the NEXT Facebook after this post.

Alright Joke of the Night, and you'll understand this only if you paid attention during Chemistry class.
