BACK ! Yes, this has been probably the best ever 1 week break I've had. Of course, I'm so dead cos MEIT is due in exactly 1 week's time. Heck MEIT. Let's go Genting for an incentive trip! Anyway yeah quite a lot of things happened but I'll see if I can blog everything. 1 year down the road, I wanna be reading this on my archive. Well train ride to KL was first up, quite traumatising actually. I paid 17 bucks to sleep on a puny bed. Oh I didn't even sleep in the first place, and that's a killer. I hate it when I can't sleep.
6.30am reached, went for an atrocious meal of Malaysian nasi lemak and roti prata (although the other guys beg to differ) and off to Genting. Checked into 2 puny hotel rooms at first world. Can't expect much for only RM40:) Then it was off to the theme park. Ha I think my $$ was really worth it. The rides were unbelievably thrilling! Especially THE DROP. Yes. Being dropped from almost..20 floors? It's a killer. And for people like Ashraf, I quote, it's a life changing experience. LOL
Dinner at an average Kenny Rogers, then off for bowling, which quite proved my point that I suck at ball games.
Next day we woke up late, missed the bus to KL! Hai. Fortunately had tickets for the next bus. Arrived around 1 and went to check in at Marriott. Talk so much about BUDGET travelling huh.
Then it was off to Fish n Co for lunch, same quality, but at ridiculously low price. Yummy. Seafood platter for 1. I could eat until I vomit. Shopping was next at Sungei Wang. I think we can officially shop like GIRLS. Guys see something they like, buy and end of story. Girls will ponder all day and come back to buy later. Or the next day. LOL. That was a recipe for wasting time.
My dad took us out for dinner at Jungle restaurant. Really packed to the max. It's like a bar restaurant, similar to those alongside Muhd Sultan. Food was quite alright, seafood again. And free flow of beer and whiskey compliments of my dad. I've never ever drank 3 mugs of beer at 1 go. Dizzy! Zouk was our supposed next stop, until we reached and minimum age for guys was 23! 23!!!!!! I've just turned 18. 23 is way way off man. There's no way I can sneak in. Anyway the club was so empty. I doubt Malaysians club on weekdays. It was like ghost town man. Ghost zouk. So headed off to KTV instead, sang till 3am. 6 guys singing ain't fun man. A girl would suffice to duet with. Hai.
Went straight to bed after that and woke up bright and early at 10! Had to check out fast, and at 12pm we had a massive task on completing 3 shopping centres in 4 hours. Mission failed of course. So didn't end up buying much compared to last few trips. The other guys bought quite a bit of stuff. As usual, shopping like GIRLS. It's really fun man. I must do that in Orchard.
Lugged back a huge amount of stuff to the hotel before rushing to the bus station for the 5pm trip back home. Took the NICE bus back home. A whopping RM70 man. Talk about BUDGET travelling lol. The $ was well worth it though cos there was a so call private lounge at the basement. Sat there most of the trip with the rest. Rubbished-talk the whole trip. Bought some tasteless chicken on the way at this empty fast food outlet.
Reached Newton around 9 plus, then cabbed back to Simpang for roti john. I so so so miss my roti john haha.
Went back to SHSS today for council commendation service. Yikes. My sec 1 history teacher can still remember me! Scary! Ms Tan Yen Lin. haha.
ok so much for the week, gotta take a major break tonight, and it's back to the air pork on weekends.
